My natural desire to capture moments as images began at the very early age of 7 with my first camera, a brownie.

In 1995, despite some time doing minimal photography for the magazine I had worked for during the 6 years prior, I was pointed in the direction of doing photography as a full time career.

My first full time photography job was shooting pet portraits. It was an interesting and unique job that helped propel me further into the photography industry.

I began doing work for some of the bands I had previously interviewed for the magazine I once worked for. Meanwhile, my natural love of architecture and connections to the historical societies in my county filled out even more of the body of my work.

I found that people seemed to enjoy my art photography quite a bit. With my art photography I did some gallery showings where much of my work sold. This is the work I did solely for the sheer love of photography. Perhaps this came across in my images and why it sold so well. Much of it focused on the light/shadow and texture of historical architecture.

Now I shoot a great many subjects. People, places, pets and events.
